Terms and Conditions
Night Shift Servicing LTD – Customer Agreement
By presenting your vehicle to Night Shift Servicing LTD, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Authorisation
By leaving your vehicle with Night Shift Servicing LTD, you (the customer) authorise us to carry out the requested repairs, servicing, diagnostics, and/or inspections, including any necessary road testing. No additional work will be undertaken without your prior approval.
2. Estimates & Pricing
Estimates will be provided upon request where feasible. Please allow 1 to several days for a full and accurate estimate, depending on the complexity of the work, vehicle-specific requirements, or parts availability. All quoted prices include VAT unless stated otherwise. Any additional work identified during repairs will only be carried out once authorised by the customer.
3. Payment Terms
Full payment is due upon completion of work and must be made before the vehicle is released, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include cash, card, and bank transfer. Vehicles not collected within three working days of job completion may incur a daily storage fee.
4. Ownership of Goods
All parts, accessories, and materials supplied and/or fitted by Night Shift Servicing LTD remain our property until full payment has been received. We reserve the right to remove or reclaim any unpaid items, where legally permitted. Ownership transfers to the customer only once all outstanding balances have been settled.
5. Right to Retain Vehicle (Lien)
Under the Torts (Interference with Goods) Act 1977, we reserve the legal right (lien) to retain your vehicle until all charges are paid in full.
6. Guarantees & Warranty
All new parts supplied and fitted by Night Shift Servicing LTD come with a 12-month or 12,000-mile warranty (whichever occurs first), unless stated otherwise. Labour is covered by a 3-month warranty. Our warranty excludes damage caused by misuse, neglect, accidents, third-party involvement, or wear-and-tear items (such as brake pads, filters, or bulbs). Used or customer-supplied parts are not covered under our warranty.
7. Delays & Liability
We strive to complete all work within the estimated timeframe; however, we accept no responsibility for delays caused by factors beyond our control. This includes, but is not limited to, part unavailability, supplier delays, or complications arising from the vehicle’s condition (e.g. rust, seized components, or age-related deterioration).
8. Customer-Supplied Parts
We may, at our discretion, agree to fit parts supplied by the customer. However, we reserve the right to refuse such parts for safety, compatibility, or warranty reasons. No warranty or liability is offered for customer-supplied parts, and any related fitment issues or failures are the customer’s responsibility. Labour charges will still apply in full. Night Shift Servicing LTD accepts no liability for the quality, performance, or reliability of any third-party or customer-provided components.
9. Data Protection
Your personal information is stored securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018 and UK GDPR. We do not share or sell your data to third parties without consent, except where required by law or regulatory bodies.
10. Complaints Procedure
We are committed to delivering a high standard of service. If you have any concerns or are dissatisfied for any reason, please contact us directly so we can resolve the issue. If a satisfactory resolution cannot be reached internally, we will comply with any applicable Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) schemes relevant to the motor trade.
By proceeding with any work through Night Shift Servicing LTD, you confirm acceptance of these terms and conditions.
